For Better Or Worse: 20 Destructive Historical Marriages That Ended In Flames
When Love Goes Very Wrong
History books love to focus on grand empires and epic battles, but some of the most chaotic warfare actually went down behind closed bedroom doors. When you combine massive egos, unlimited political power, and a total lack of modern marriage counseling, you get a recipe for some truly spectacular domestic disasters. These legendary power couples didn't just drift apart or argue about who left the dishes in the sink; instead, they tore their lives apart, dragged whole nations into their drama, and occasionally resorted to literal execution to get a divorce.
