Colonel Sanders didn’t find his true calling in cooking until he was already in his sixties. Before Kentucky Fried Chicken, Sanders worked as a farm boy, railroad worker, blacksmith, and more. It wasn’t until late in life that he began selling chickens in a roadside shack.
